In every community, there are moments when someone needs more than words — they need a helping hand, a warm smile, and a reminder that they are not alone.
At Lilies Foundation PDX, we believe that compassion in action has the power to restore hope. This week, our volunteers came together to assist an elderly widow whose home repairs had been long overdue. From painting her front porch to fixing a leaking roof, every act of service carried the message: “You are valued, and you are loved.”

Moments like these are more than projects — they are a reflection of our commitment to serve the elderly, widows, immigrants, and fatherless children in Portland. We walk alongside them not just to meet immediate needs, but to remind them that they belong to a community that cares.
